  1. A lot of billionaires don’t want you to vote because they’ve spent a bunch of money over the last 50 years fucking up the tax laws to make it easier for them to keep all the money.
  2. To secure their investment, they need to make sure that other people don’t vote to tax them more and redistribute the money back to themselves. They do this via voter suppression.
  3. So far these specific billionaires invested over $20MM into the GOP Legal Fund to file and defend lawsuits that keep regular people from voting.
  4. They’ve done this because it’s very cheap for them to keep you from voting and taking back your money, and very expensive for them to actually pay taxes if you elect candidates who will tax them.
